Dr. Brown founded Fishers Veterinary Associates with the opening of Fishers Veterinary Hospital in 1979. He is a 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and completed a one-year internship at South Shore Veterinary Hospital in Boston in 1978. Dr. Brown has a wide-ranging interest, knowledge, and skill in medical and surgical care. He has been very active in Fishers and Carmel for many years, including Hamilton County 4-H, youth sports programs, and the Humane Society. He and his wife, Pat, have been married for over 30 years and have a son, Peter, daughter-in-law, Christina, and a granddaughter and grandson.
Dr. Brown, in his time away from the practice, enjoys hunting, backpacking, and hiking. He is accompanied in his outdoor pursuits by his Spinone (Italian bird dog), Maddie.

Dr. Collins graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, also from Ohio State , in 1995. A member of our staff of veterinarians since 2002, Dr. Collins' areas of interest include Emergency and Critical Care medicine and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She is a frequent speaker in the Hamilton Southeastern and Carmel school districts. Dr. Collins and her architect husband, Matt, have a Golden Retriever mix, Delilah (who graces the Yellow Pages listing for Fishers Veterinary Associates) and Daphne, a Bearded Collie pup. Dr. Collins enjoys cooking, home interior design, and other craft pursuits.

Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Iowa State University in 2001, following a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Spanish from Dana College in Nebraska in 1997. A native of Des Moines , Iowa , Dr. Lee came to Indianapolis for a one-year internship at Noah's Animal Hospital . Upon completion of her internship, she joined our professional veterinary staff in 2002. Dr. Lee's extensive professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. She has given talks at local schools and assists the Hamilton County 4-H with health exams. She and her husband, John, just welcomed their first son Jace David Lee to the world on May 15, 2008. They are also parents to Mason, a Dalmation/Bull Mastiff mix (and, according to Dr. Lee, a "full-blood Frisbee dog"). She also, in her time away from the practice, enjoys fiction reading and outdoor exercise, including hiking and rollerblading.

Dr. Katter, our part-time and "fill-in" doctor, joined Fishers Veterinary Associates in 2003. She received a B.S. in 1998, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Her professional interests include Dentistry, Animal Behavior, and Dermatology. Dr. Katter is a native of Southern Indiana . She and her husband, Ryan, were joined by daughter Rylee in February of 2006. Isabelle, a weimaraner, George, a terrier mix, and cats, Kramer and Cosmo, help fill out a very busy home life. Free time for Dr. Katter, when available, is often filled with scrapbooking, sewing, and assisting Ryan with home remodeling.

Dr. Cloud earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine after having completed his Bachelors degree from Hanover College. Dr. Cloud is a native of Indianapolis, and previously taught high school for five years at Cathedral. His professional interests include Ophthalmology, Behavior and Internal Medicine. He lives with his wife, Carla, also a veterinarian, and their two dogs Holden and Scruffles, and two cats, Little Girl and Norman. In his free time he enjoys swimming and working on his home and gardens in Irvington.
